IAC Official Contest Rule BookImportant Notice: Any IAC member or person acting on behalf of the IAC is hereby authorized to copy and print this document for personal or IAC-approved use. Any copy of this document or portion thereof must include this copyright notice. This document may be used for information only and may not be exploited for commercial purposes. RULE BOOK – PART 2 (Appendices Only) Once you have the PDF file or files downloaded onto your computer, you may print the Rule Book on any printer. The PDF file is set up for double-sided printing on 8.5” x 11” paper, though of course, you may print single-sided if you wish. If you have a duplex-capable printer, simply set the printer properties for “print on both sides.” If your printer cannot automatically print both sides of the paper, you may still print a double-sided copy. To do that, in the PDF Print dialog box, set the Print Range Subset to “Even Pages Only” and print the document. Reload the printed pages as required for your particular printer for double-sided copies (see your printer’s User Manual), set the Print Range Subset to “Odd Pages Only” and print the remaining side of each page. Because each printer differs as to how the paper needs to be ordered and loaded for a double-sided page to print properly, we suggest you experiment with just the first few pages until you are confident that the entire document will print properly. If you prefer not to print the document yourself, you may copy the PDF file(s) to a CD-R and take it to most any “copy store” and have them print it for you. For an additional fee, the copy story can also punch and bind the document in a variety of styles. Note that because of the format, it is possible, but NOT practical to have the page size reduced below 8.5” x 11”. |
