Contest Information

All IAC competitions use a "building block" method of increasing proficiency, complexity and skill as pilots advance to higher competition categories.

IAC Chapters host regional aerobatic competitions. Pilots interested in competing in aerobatic contests must be a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) and the International Aerobatic Club (IAC). You must also possess at least a Private Pilot Certificate, ASEL, and have a current medical. Additional information on How to Begin in aerobatics and Competition Aerobatics is available on the public side of the IAC website.
